Coco Bodu Hithi has welcomed fitness guru Carly Rowena for a fitness residency.
From June 16-21, Carly is conducting a fun and unique Floatation Fitness Residency, as part of the resort’s “That Summer Feeling” series of tropical events and activities. In addition, she also does a seminar on Fitness Advice at My Fitness Hub, a perfect place for those who are interested to start working out this summer.
Carly’s week-long residency consists of four bespoke sessions, involving a mixture of functional movements combined with balance, cardio, and core-based movements all performed on stand-up paddle boards. Carly has designed this activity to test the guest’s balance, coordination and strength, not to mention bravery.
Another activity involves using the beach, coconuts, the sea and sand to put the guest’s body to the ultimate test with a full body blitz. This class is designed to give them the tools to engage their core and use their abs without back pain, as well as learn new moves they can take with them anywhere, without the need of a gym.
A personal trainer, fitness blogger and author from the UK, Carly turned to YouTube after working for many years in a job that she disliked. Through YouTube, she cultivated a loyal online community of subscribers and followers, who collectively inspired her to quit her job and qualify as a Personal Trainer.
In addition to training private clients, she now also teaches classes online, and hosts health and fitness retreats all over the worlds.
Carly’s goal is to help her large social media following find a healthy, happy, and balanced approach to feeling good in their own bodies.
