Great (and big) nightly surprise. They woke us up at 3 AM to tell us that “He” was there, eating the plankton that the lights at the stern of the ship were illuminating. Some of us jumped into the water without thinking it twice. I have to say that taking this shot was really hard, because the whaleshark came so close to the boat that it was very difficult to get nearby without getting hitted on the head. #whaleshark #rhincodontypus #nightdive #biggestfishintheworld #maldives #submaldives #underwaterphotography #underwater_world_ #water_of_our_world
