Like a luxurious version of Waterworld, Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives’ 45 stilted villas float on a lagoon surrounding a tiny coral island in the Maldives.
The villas of Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives hover above the blue waters of one of the largest, most beautiful lagoons in the Maldives. Most of the resort’s 45 luxury villas are built off interconnected jetties, while for true seclusion, the seven detached Crusoe residences are accessible only by boat.
Rather than competing with the beauty of nature, Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives complements it. Each villa is traditionally (and sustainably) designed, using thick beams of wood and other natural materials that blend rustic charm with modern comfort.
Enjoy private meals prepared on the deck of your villa, or come ashore to savor East-meets-West fusion fare at one of the resort’s gourmet establishments. But don’t forget that you’re in an ocean paradise. Take advantage of Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives’ diving school, or go for a leisurely snorkel through azure waters. Go deep-sea fishing, or try windsurfing. At the end of a day, indulge yourself with a Coconut Rub at the resort’s over water spa.
